Dear Uterus,
I'm still in ICU.
I finally am coming out of DIC.
DIC.
I still don't fully understand it, but they have it written on my white board.
It means my blood was not clotting. I was not producing the stuff that makes it clot either.
They wrote down a list of all the units of blood products I had.
They do blood work on me every few hours. For the last few days everything was still dropping, but tonight a few things stayed the same. They say that's good news.
I might get to move out of ICU today and into a regular room.
