Today I received a letter from the hospital.
They said they understand my frustration at the unfortunate circumstances...
Then they said the Standard of Care had been met, and there was no fault with the hospital or doctor.
I don't really have anything else to say.
They gave me an option to contact another review committee if I still felt negatively...
another review committee at the same hospital...
So that makes me feel.. positive.... not.

ReplyDeleteForgive me if you've already done this, but I would recommend that you consult with the medical malpractice attorney. I suspect that the hospital and it's insurer are already responding to you to "shape "their case should you pursue action against them.
